OMG you losers they should of aired it anyways and they did! i just watched the last episode of hannah montana! You could of just turned the dumb tv off you stupid concerned parents really need to stop ruining everything seriously any time theres another reveiw for y’all to do say something after thinking about your kids point of veiw and thinking of what you could do if you dont want them to watch it (so basicly try to make words not come out of your mouth) :) Drive Safley

The episode showed in NZ tonight, and speaking personally as someone with type one diabetes… not only this show, but really any portray Type One Diabetes in the ‘right’ way.. The ‘Living the Dream’ episode had to be the best, and because he was being real and it was not scripted. Yes, diabetes is a growing condition around the world, but i personally think that tv shows should not portray it unless they actually have the correct information and continue to use it rather then have one episode … then it is never mentioned again.

I’ve had Type 1 for 25 years.
My oldest brother Type 1 for 45 years.
His 2 kids Type 1 for 10 years.
I thought the episode was funny and took no offence at all.
But … I guess there are those who can’t differentiate between reality and TV …
Yes you shouldn’t eat lollies if you have Type 1 … or even worse, feel it’s OK as long as you take extra insulin … seriously, these comments are so lacking in understanding what it’s about.
Yes you can break the rules sometimes if that helps you cope, but long term affects of stepping over the line are what the whole issue is with diabetes, so you need to treat it like that … something you shouldn’t do
However, seriously, I’m not interested in watching people do BSL tests or taking insulin on TV :P
If you have Type 1 – you have to do those things – so what?

I don’t understand why everyone got so worked up about the fact that they pulled the episode. If you did the research, they stated that they were going to air it, after they changed the things found offensive. I was actually diagnosed with type 1 diabetes about 2 months before they announced the episode, and pulled it, and when i heard the reason they pulled it was because of things like, Oliver jumoing in a trash can for a half eaten piece of candy and the fact that it talked nothing about insulin or checkin sugars, i was okay with it. Im sorry but I dont want people thinking that because im diabetic they cant eat anything with sugar around me for fear I might go into a frenzy and attack them for it.

I’m 14 and I believe that it was the episode with Oliver wanting all the sugared treats at that party. I don’t get why it was pulled off and for the parents that wanted that episode to be pulled off because their children would get the wrong message. If you parents knew they would get the wrong message then after the episode they should’ve explained that. I believe that’s easy to do. I read a comment that says disney channel should talk important issues like drugs, sex, and diseases. I think that was stupid to mention because iy is disney channel…you know a kid, family comedy channel…you know that’s what Degrassi is for.
