Whoa…Who knew co-parenting was so expensive?
A Los Angeles court has ordered Halle Berry to pony up the dough in child support.
The Oscar-winning actress, 47, must pay ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry $16,000 per month to support the former couple’s six-year-old daughter, Nahla Aubry. Additionally, the Queen star will have to pay Aubry $116,000 in retroactive support. Payments will continue until Nahla either turns 19 years of age or graduates from high school, whichever comes first.
The exes have been sharing custody of Nahla ever since Aubry, a Canadian-born model, blocked Berry’s petition to move the child to Paris. Berry and Aubry spent two years in a highly publicized battle over the legal and financial details of Nahla’s custody, following a Thanksgiving Day knockdown drag-out between Gabriel and Halle’s now husband, French actor Olivier Martinez.
Berry — whose storied history with romance is as extensive as her filmography — started dating the Guess model in 2006. Nahla arrived two years later. The romance hit the skids in 2010.
Berry and Martinez welcomed son Maceo in October 2013.
