I think that Ms. Paltrow isone of the most beautiful, classy woman to ever grace the stage and screen. I feel her authenticity in her craft. She has played roles that required immersion into the character's persona and shone like the brightest star in the universe.

I would be honored to know Ms. Paltrow and to call her friend.

My advice: Get the f---k off her back. Let her talk about whomever or whatever the muse creates. If she wants to talk about Joaquin, let her be. Ms. Paltrow has a right to express her opinion without all you vultures twisting the comments into a barb or insult. I think what you do is disgusting and you should be ashamed of yourselves. Actors are people too and should have the right to speak without having to worry about some ass---e turning it into tabloid fodder for jackass #3. (the movie you idiots).

If you really want to find something to talk about, why don't you find our soldiers that are coming home with parts of their body blown off so idgets like you can write your slanted, distorted columns.

These people are the true hero's of society and deserve to have their story told. They aren't acting the part. They use real bullets and real blood and brothers and sisters, husbands and wives, sons and daughters are being ripped to pieces every day, yet the headlines read: Gweneth slams Joaquin's choice of entertaining himself. He doesn't owe any of us diddly squat.

Anybody remember Walk the Line or Gladiator? What the hell? If I want to raise beef instead of build electrical distribution facilities I should damn well be able to make that choice without anyone giving me grief. So back the truck off! Let people live and choose to do as they please. Let people make their opinion known and quit beating it to death. Actor's owe us nothing. We owe them everything. They give, sacrifice for our entertainment. Why can't we just leave them alone. Let them live their lives in peace. How would you like a camera lens shoved up your gluteous maximus up to your shoulder blades?

Back off and let them be. I am greatful for all the memories of the fine entertainment on the screen, stage and television that have entertained us for generations. From Judy Garland, Jackie Gleason, Milton Burle, Red Skelton to John Wayne, Al Pacino, Tom Hanks, Jack Nicholson, Robert DeNiro, Anthony Hopkins, and yes Gwyneth Paltrow and Joaquin Phoenix. Let them be!
