With rumors of a split intensifying, Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin are reportedly in the middle of last-ditch efforts to save their marriage. One focal point of discussion for the sparring couple includes the Oscar-winning actress’ alleged obsession with good pal Madonna.


“Gwyneth has the Madonna bug… bad,” says a mutual friend. “It’s eerie. Gwyneth acts normally until Madonna comes around, and then Gwyn is all about Madonna, all the time. Madge has even introduced Gwyneth to all her friends. Now instead of going to see Chris perform, she’d rather hang out with people like Alex Rodriguez and Ingrid Casares.”
