Gwen Stefani has launched a scholarship fund to help send deserving students, who lost their homes and/or source of income in the October wildfires, to college. Gwen Stefani After-the-Fires Scholarship will be open to graduating high school seniors and college students. Gwen donated $166,000 in proceeds from her Oct. 30 San Diego concert to the San Diego Foundation fire relief fund.

“When I heard about the devastation of the fires, at first I felt I should cancel my show out of respect,” Stefani said in a prepared statement. “But then it occurred to me there might be a more useful solution.”
