Grammy-nominated rapper turned Oscar-nominated actress Queen Latifah will portray Vice-Presidential Debate moderator Gwen Ifill when SNL parodies the Sarah Palin/Joe Biden showdown “live from New York” tomorrow night.

“If we do a VP debate sketch, Queen Latifah is lined up to play Gwen Ifill,” an SNL rep confirmed to PEOPLE Friday.
