This is a core issue in two multidimensional programs I am developing, one on addiction recovery, and another on reversing the aging process. Not surprising that both addiction and aging have all of the very same factors.I like Sponge Bob and will watch it with my friend's kids occasionally. I find it beyond disturbing that nearly every advertised product for children's programs is essentially sugar, and aiding to get kids addicted. Here is a link on sugar addiction as a precursor to drug and alcohol addiction. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sugar_addiction#cite_note-2. The implications are huge. I wonder if the advertisers- Post, Nestle etc., are aware of this- or are they just ignorant and feed their kids sugar? On a similar note- I did a search on the side effects of Xanax- which is prescribed for anxiety and depression. The side effects? In addition to it being extremely addictive- anxiety, depression, psychosis, and suicide!!!!! What the hell is that about? Is anyone else wondering about this? Is it a preconceived plan to get people addicted?Thank you for helping to raise awareness. To our collective health and well being,Carolee

Rock on Ritchie!

This is such an insidious, unrecognized addiction.
