If it’s Emmy-winning material Katherine Heigl wants, the team of writers at Grey’s Anatomy are about to give the mouthy blonde the storyline of her life.
Last week, rumors surfaced that producers of the Golden Globe-winning medical drama are planning to kill off Heigl’s character thanks to her Emmy withdrawal controversy (Katherine angered the show’s writing staff when she dropped out of the Emmy race, adding that she didn’t feel she was “given the material this season to warrant an Emmy nomination.”w U.S Weekly claims writers are planning a storyline that will see K.H’s Dr. Isobel “Izzie” Stevens diagnosed with a brain tumor.
“[Producer] Shonda [Rhimes] and the writers are pissed at her…It’s their way of screwing with her. She won’t know whether she’s going to live or die.”
Tm>U.S spy also spills that Izzie’s late fiance, Denny Duquette, will return to Seattle Grace as some kind of spooky of death-a report a rep for the series confirmed on Wednesday:
