Emmy Award-winning star Katherine Heigl is rumored to be pulling out all the stops in an effort to wiggle out of her contract with the hit ABC medical drama Grey’s Anatomy, thanks to her new found status as a silver screen siren. But that doesn’t mean the bombshell beauty isn’t stirring up any behind-the-scenes drama before she makes her grand exit. Fellow Grey’s star Ellen Pompeo has ignited a firestorm with castmembers after a recent on-set blow up over the show producers’ perceived “special treatment” of Heigl.

The National Enquirer reports: Ellen arrived on the set after the Oscars and spotted a huge gold star adorning her rival’s dressing room door! Blowing her cool, Ellen raged to bosses: “She’s not the star of this show!” Dumbfounded execs discovered Patrick Dempsey had tacked the star on Katherine’s door as a joke - and when they ordered it removed, Dr. McDreamy exploded at Ellen, snarking she’s jealous because Katherine really has become the show’s break-out star!
