Unlike her cohorts on Bravo’s Real Housewives of Orange County, reality star Gretchen Rossi has avoided going under the knife. The striking blonde tells FOX News’ “Pop Tarts” Column, that while it is a personal struggle to remain natural, she considers it her responsibility as a role model to swear off plastic surgery and show other women how to be comfortable in their own skin.

In fact, the O.C. native is anti-plastic that she just launced “The Gretchen Project,” a intiative aimed at “finding alternative ways to maintain everlasting beauty without having to go under the knife” while following Gretchen’s pursuit of beauty. “The Gretchen Project” vows to “find the new, now and next in beauty from leading medical and beauty experts from around the world with the ultimate goal to pass along the pearls of wisdom to the modern day woman,” according to the Official Website.

“It is hard to stay strong and not go under the knife because I am surrounded by it,” Gretchen said at the UNITE Unveiled bash in West Hollywood this week. “But ultimately I feel I have made the right choice for me and I can only hope it sets an example to young girls that you don’t have to have plastic surgery to feel beautiful and confident.
