Grandma Says: “Rihanna Okay” After Alleged Assault By Chris Brown
Family members in Rihanna’s native Barbados want her fans to know that the pop star is doing well after she was allegedly attacked by R&B-singing boyfriend Chris Brown early Sunday morning.
“I don’t want people to worry,” the “Umbrella” singer’s grandmother, Clara Brathwaite, told Barbados paper The Daily Nation on Monday. “Rihanna is fine and she is doing well.”
Brathwaite denied island reports that Rihanna’s nose was broken in the scuffle with Chris. She added that the singer has been text-messaging friends in Barbados to keep them updated on her well-being.
