GQ Awards Feud Ends Elton John Lily Allen Duet Hopes
Elton John has changed his mind about dueting with mouthy pop singer Lily Allen following their famous spat at the 2008 GQ Men of the Year Awards earlier this month.
The “Rocketman” traded insults with the 23-year-old “Smile” star as they co-hosted the ceremony in London last week.
“I was thinking about asking her to tour with me and maybe even do a duet,” he said. “Obviously that won’t be happening now.”

This is most likely not a feud at all! So the idea of an Elton John/ Lily Allen collaboration duet is not bad. Lily Allen can write Lyrics Elton John probably can, but usually doesn’t, Lily Allen needs to stay out of the tabloids, (no really she does!) so this could be a plus.Elton John is a masterful piano player, but these are sell out crowds, and Lily Allen needs to adjust to that, so touring may/or may not be a good idea, plus even with her new songs, even she’s aware that her Alright Still songs are not alright still any more!
