Get ready for Google: The Movie?!
The internet’s most popular search engine has become a Trending Topic of its own. The latest industry buzz claims that a movie about the web giant is currently in pre-production.
Ken Auletta’s bestselling book Googled: The End Of The World As We Know It — the tale of how Google became an online hub — is being adapted for the big screen by Groundswell Prouductions and producer John Morris, ComingSoon.com spilled on Friday. The biopic will follow the stories of Sergey Brin and Larry Page, who were working on their Ph.Ds at Stanford when they founded Google more than 10 years ago.
From a search engine Google has evolved to a multi-faceted online service provide and its invasion in the OS market has made Microsoft worried. It has also tasted great success with its web browser named Chrome. However, the producers have not yet finalized on the cast for the movie.
