British TV host Kate Garraway is popping shots at Mariah Carey and her notorious diva-tude.

The “Obsessed” singer was in the UK to promote her role in the critically-acclaimed new film Precious when she appeared on GMTV for a taped interview with host Lorraine Kelly — who found the powerhouse anything but pleasant.
“I’ve heard a lot of rumors about her being a diva over the years and guess what? It turns out it’s all true!” Garraway blabs in an interview with London’s New! Magazine. “While Mariah was very nice, the amount of people she had in her entourage was hilarious. They outnumbered the entire ‘GMTV’ crew.”

Garraway revealed Carey not only came with an entourage to ensure she looked picture perfect on air but needed two people to lower her on to the morning show’s sofa to keep from crushing her dress.

“She brought her own toilet roll as well,” Garraway added. “Have you ever heard anything like it?”

Actually, we have….Just last week, the songbird — who has a long-standing history for quirky demands — reportedly insisted she be surrounded by 20 white kittens and 100 white doves for her appearance at a Christmas lighting event in London.
