Brandi Glanville might want to quit bragging about her one-night romp with Gerard Butler –- especially since he told Howard Stern that he didn’t even know her name!

The Playing for Keeps actor, 43, was a guest on Stern’s radio show Monday and admitted that the two “met at a beach party” and had “a bit of fun.” But upon learning that The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star was telling people about their steamy fling, Butler recalls:

“You know what I said — ‘Who’s Brandi Glanville?’ — because I didn’t know her last name, didn’t know she was a celebrity, didn’t know she was going to run out and f**king tell everyone about it!”

The 40-year-old blonde spilled the beans on the brief encounter last year. When asked who was the most famous person she’d hooked up with, Brandi responded: “Gerard Butler.” When asked to rate his sexual prowess, the former Mrs. Eddie Cibrian claimed Gerard was “more than good.”

Apparently, he didn’t appreciate the compliment:

“I called her and I said, ‘One, I’m not really happy that you did that because there are certain things you got to keep a little private. And two, ‘I am sorry because I said I didn’t know who you were…She was in tears and said, ‘I am doing a book tour and nobody is asking me about the book, they just are saying that Gerard Butler says he doesn’t know who you are.’”
