Gerard Butler Charged With Battery After Attacking Photographer
Gerard Butler was charged with misdemeanor criminal battery in Los Angeles on Thursday.
The charges stem from the actor’s “altercation with a photographer” at 2 a.m. on Oct. 7 — the night of the Hollywood premiere of his film RocknRolla.
According to TMZ.com, Gerard punched a paparazzo a few times in the lip as he was getting into a limo outside the Crown Bar in Los Angeles. The actor could spend up to six months in jail if convicted.
He will be arraigned in a Los Angeles courtroom on June 10.
