Since throwing his support behind Senator Barack Obama’s race for the White House, silver screen sex symbol George Clooney has begun considering a Senate race of his own.

George is excited about the possibility of running for public office, the actor has reportedly been telling pals.

According to Star, George recently told a friend, “I have always told people I’d never run for office. But I have to say it’s really growing on me. I love the idea of really helping change things for average people. So yeah, I can honestly say you may see me running for the Senate. I think I would win, too.”
