Gene Simmons is gay. He covers it up with all the nonsense and that has worked well for him. But Gene and Paul are gay. Not lovers – just gay. Shannon Twen is not his wife. She gets paid to live with him. The arrangement is clear. Like Will Smith and many politicians- a wife and children is all one needs to smokescreen the stupid. Who cares? So someones gay? LOTS of people care and fortunately they are stupid so just be Gene and pretend you have poloroids of 5000 woman. Of course he ccant show them for privacy reasons and the fact someone “stole” a bunch of them. Hilarious but thats life.

I think that gene is full of himslef and that he shouldn’t be telling adam waht to do etc etc. but in some places there r homophobic people and there’s nothing u can do about it but the world isn’t nearly 100% against homos/bis/lesbians. adam will be huge star and iconic but he still has a lot to do.

To gene i just wanna say that : “stfu, u r just a selfish old ex-rocker who wears a stupid hair” so there lol XD anyway gene, say wht ev u want, we don’t give flying fuck about it. ;)

This is hypocritical considering Gene and Paul Stanley were notorious for self promoting their sexual preference towards multiple women partners. Didn;t hurt their career.. Anyone remember Gene and his tongue on Oprah 10 or so years ago? Or let’s not forget Paul Stanley in the bed with three groupies in the popular documentary Decline of Western Civilization.

Gene tried to carefully to make this out to be about sexuality period…… but the the so obvious hypocrisy coming from Kiss of all bands paints the real picture, that Gene believes gays should stay in the closet because all of us outside his world (LA) are a bunch of ignorant homophobic rednecks.

In reality, Gene Simmons is the one coming across as homophobic……telling a gay person that coming out of the closet will hurt his career.

What hurts career’s is using your platform as an entertainer to make constant political statements and actors singers acting as if they were scholars or government officials. Not coming out of the closet…..who cares?

I think that no matter what his sexuality people will always love him! He is a talented person! Most talented ever on american idol! I love Adam! I wish he won!
And if other people don’t like him cause he is gay, than thats too bad. Because he is amazing and you will be missing out on a spectacular voice!

Why does Gene Simmons say Adam killed his career? Jealouy, pure and simple. Adam literally out-performed Simmons by a long shot and Simmons knows it.

Does he have talent, sure he made it pretty far. But screaming like that, promoting makeup, black nailpolish, well, let’s just say that is just part of the reason he is NOT an “American Idol”. Exactly what Gene said, in LA maybe, goes along with the rest of the freaks! A nice married Christian man, good voice, etc. That is someone I am glad one, someone my kids can look up and aspire to be… period!

Adam Lambert will become the next iconic star worldwide. Gene Simmons will, ultimately, be proved wrong and I have a sneaking suspicion that’s what he wants. Can’t wait for Adam’s album and his UK tour (when might that be? does anybody have any info?)

Gene Simmons is a smart man. Commenting on Adam Lambert right now keeps his name in the media and on the web. It is all the better for him if what he says is controversial because he gets more coverage. Of course this wouldn’t work if he was a nobody………………………

Seriously? Simmons sounds like HE has a problem with Adam being gay and therefore wants to assign HIS hang up to the rest of the country.

I’m sure Wisconsin and Nebraska really appreciate Gene tagging them as homophobe USA.

Why doesn’t Gene just shut the hell up already?

Gene right after Idol called Adam a “powerful and attractive man” and said he could come out on tour with Kiss anytime. What’s wrong Gene, you afaid people might think you have a thing for Adam so you have to denounce his gayness? Grow up.
