Gas Monkey Garage asking for your help…Spreading some Christmas Cheer
The Discovery Channel’s Gas Monkey Garage, is asking for your help.
Bike builders, Richard Rawlings and Aaron Kaufman, are asking you to help a little boy that is battling Cystic Fibrosis.
CF, a genetic disease that there is no cure for, has taken it’s toll on 9-year old Kentucky native, Dalton Dingus. Just before Thanksgiving, Dalton headed home from the University of Kentucky clinic and has been met with a massive outpouring of prayers and love from his hometown of Salyersville, Kentucky. Dalton, who is at home for his finals days, set out on a mission to break the world record for the most Christmas cards received.
Since Dalton’s family got behind his goal, the family has been inundated with cards and letters to the little boy. Now, the Gas Monkey Garage is also asking their fans from all around the world to mail Dalton a card. “A 9-year-old boy named Dalton might not make it through the New Year because he’s sick but he’s trying to break the World Record for most Christmas cards. Here’s one from Gas Monkey Garage! You should send one, too: Dalton Dingus, H.C. 62 Box 1249 Salyersville, KY 41465,” Richard posted on the official Facebook page for the garage.
If you have time, could you do something as simple as mail a Christmas card to a little boy struggling with this horrible disease.
