In 2008, Gary Dourdan was voted as one of “Hollywood’s Sexiest Actors” by TV Guide Magazine. Today, he’s just another drug-addled “celebrity.” (At least he has company…) Dourdan, best known for playing investigator Warrick Brown on TV’s CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, was arrested in Los Angeles over the weekend; this after cops in the City of Angels caught him in possession of several ecstasy tablets after he crashed his car into several parked vehicles while under driving under the influence.
The 44-year-old star, whose character was killed off of the show three years ago, was taken into custody at approximately at 3:55 AM Monday and booked on suspicion of driving under the influence at the Pacific Division Police Station in Venice. He posted $10,000 bail and was released about eight hours after his arrest.
Of course, this isn’t Dourdan’s first brush with the law. Not long after he was let go from CSI in 2008, Dourdan was arrested in Palm Springs, California after police found him asleep behind the wheel of his car.
Officers in that case found him in possession of heroin, cocaine, and ecstasy. He avoided prison time by agreeing to a plea agreement and entering a drug-diversion program. The following year, his girlfriend was taken into custody following an alleged fiery domestic dispute between the two. Gary later contributed their noisemaking to sex.
