Garth Brooks Joins Justin Timberlake On Stage Singing ‘Friends In Low Places’
This past weekend, Justin Timberlake had a show in his hometown of Nashville Tennessee, where he had a surprise guest join him on stage.
The legendary Garth Brooks joined Justin on stage of his 20/20 Experience tour, and the two country men sang Friends In Low Places.
“I mean, this country music capital of the world, right?” he said to his thousand of screaming fans, who sang along with the pop star for a spirited rendition of the country hit. Half way through song, Timberlake paused and noted: “Hold on now–something don’t feel right. Something don’t feel right. Nashville… I mean if you’re gonna do this— Garth?!”
These two boys singing is so cute. Justin is jumping up and down with his guitar signing very energetically while Garth is looking around on stage taken everything in. It’s one thing performing in front of a stadium of your own fans, its another to crash a someone else’s concert and have their audience except you just the same. Garth does everyone a huge favor and singing the third verse of FILP, the verse that was not part of the formal recording of the song, and one that Garth claims he and his band don’t sing anymore.
