Friends of Kate Hudson are warning the Almost Famous actress not to get too serious with New York Yankees star Alex Rodriquez because the recently divorce slugger is know for hitting homeruns with hunnies all over Hollywood.

Kate was first romantically linked to A-Rod in April, after the actress attended a Yankee game as a “special guest” of third baseman. Later that night, the couple reportedly got cozy while eating dinner at Mustang Grill in Manhattan.

Alex divorced wife Cynthia in 2008. The official filing cited Rodriguez’s “affair of the heart” with pop star Madonna as one cause of the split.

“She should not take this too seriously,” a TransWorld source said Tuesday. “Alex doesn’t stick with one woman.”

Kate, 30, was previously married to Black Crowes rocker Chris Robinson. She has also dated actor Owen Wilson and cyclist Lance Armstrong.
