After the NBC drama, Friday Night Lights, went off the air, fans have been begging for more from Peter Berg. Now Berg has confirmed that a script is being written and that a movie could be in the works.

The Texas high-school football drama which featured the AMAZING work of Kyle Chandler, Connie Britton, Zach Gilford, Taylor Kitsch and Michael B. Jordan, (just to name a few), could be hitting the big screen. Producer of the series, Peter Berg, confirmed with Sport’s Illustrated writer, Peter King, that the script is being written. We have what I think is a really good idea and we’re going to see if we can make it happen.
