Freddie Prinze Jr is joining the cast of 24, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

Prinze has inked a deal to join the cast of the Fox series as a regular. The actor — who is expecting a baby girl with wife Sarah Michelle Gellar later this year — will be playing Davis Cole, a recently returned Marine who runs CTU Field Ops and wants to follow in the footsteps of Jack Bauer.
