Former Miss Nevada Katie Rees Slams Donald Trump & Carrie Prejean
Does the name Katie Rees ring a bell?
Former Miss Nevada USA Katie Rees is hopping mad –and Donald Trump and Miss California Carrie Prejean are perched at the top of her Most Wanted list.
In 2006, Katie was stripped of her title as Miss Nevada USA after risqué pictures surfaced of the then 17-year-old party girl licking boobs, urinating on walls, and exposing herself. Rees is furious that The Donald has allowed Christian conservative Carrie to keep her crown — despite the recent leak of several topless shots featured in the aspiring model’s “portfolio” — while she was thrown out on her ear.
“An accurate word to describe me is irate,” the former beauty queen fumed in an interview with Extra on Tuesday afternoon
“No matter what the stipulations are with the pictures, if you’re semi-nude, you’re semi-nude and it says so in the contract. Prejean broke the contact… she should’ve had her crown taken away just like mine… for her crown not to be taken away is absolutely outrageous.”
Katie suspects that the same rules that resulted in her tiara being taken away weren’t applied to Carrie.
“The fact is Carrie purposely posed nude for these pictures… I did not. I was a teenager who accidentally was out having a good time with her girlfriends and was unguarded,” Katie explained, still tasting defeat more than two years after being dethroned. “Tara Conner broke her contract for drug use…these girls get to keep their crown and I’m the one who’s exploited. I just wonder if Mr. Trump knows what he put me through — what I’ve gone through these past two years,” she continued.
Katie says she’s considering taking legal action against the Miss Universe Organization and its co-owner, Trump, on the grounds of discrimination.
“I am speaking with my lawyer right now.”
