Former “Friends” Star in Therapy
One of the happiest couples in Hollywood, Courtney Cox and David Arquette attribute their 7-year long marriage to genuine affection, laughs — and therapy.
“We were just in Sardinia for vacation,” Cox reported to Life Magazine. “We got into these fights two nights in a row over stupid stuff… [and] I can see how relationships break up if you don’t go ‘What are we doing?!’,” she added, saying that they went to a therapist soon thereafter to work out these little tiffs.
In addition to marriage counseling, Cox, 41 has also started seeing a therapist of her own. She says that although she’s a great caretaker, “one thing [she's] not great it is taking care of [herself.]”
“My goal for this part of my life is to be more nurturing to myself,” Cox reported.
While Cox and Arquette are hoping for a second child, don’t expect the tabloids to be all over a burgeoning stomach just yet. “We’re just revving up the engines,” Cox says.
