I would like to say that , of late, Kate Gosselin is making the Octomom look like the Mother of the Year.
I am sickened at all the hype being given to Kate Gosselin. She is a disgustingly controling woman who is “selling the souls” of her children – she has trashed and demeaned her husband and all the time she is laughing her way to the bank. Who cares that her children are being destroyed right in front of the eyes of the world (As a developmentalist, I can assure you that these children are not capable to discerning whether they “want” to be on tv or not. All they want right now is love, security, trust and fun (not necessarily wealth, fame and glory). Jon and Kate should be able to give them these without parading them in all their “perfection” in front of the world. It is clear that Jon is quite aware of the fact that their current lifestyle is not in the best interest of the children but he is incapable to stopping Kate (who by her own admission, “Loves her life”…….). She has carefully and purposefully excluded all extended family from their lives – she even sold items the now deceased paternal grandfather had given Mady and Kara – the children were shown begging to be allowed to keep them. Kate is not a victim in any way. She ran Jon off. He is a wonderful father who cares nothing for the hype and fame that Kate thinks she has. I wish the Division of Family Services would award the children to Jon – then Kate could be freed up to go all around the world selling her autograph and posing (unwillingly – sure) for the camera’s in her bikini (on top of her plastic surgery recovered body.
I predict that the show is going to soon be taken off the air and Kate will still find ways to make the cover of sleeze magazines just so she can get the money but she needs to know that she is not “famous”….. she is “infamous”.
In spite of all of the above, i do wish them all the best – just wish they would get back to the simple life – for Jon and those children!
I feel badly for Jon. Did he make a mistake? Yes, most likely he did react to the stressors of life – in the wrong way, … He is human, he made a mistake after being demeaned again and again. Still, he has so much to offer this world as a father. He said he cannot write. Yes he can – all he needs to do is to get a ghost writer to help him document his story as he learned how to be ‘Daddy” to those beautiful children ….. yet managed to not allow it to all go to his head.
I wonder why Kate chose not to allow jon to be a co-author of “Eight Little Faces”???? Aren’t those children his as well? We all know the answer to that…. Kate shares the “glory” with NO ONE, including her own husband and the father of those ‘eight little faces’……
My best to Jon and the children – I do wish this young family could go to counseling and get things straightened out so they can get back to being a real family.
I agree with Kate’s brother and sister-in-law (Jodi) I pray that that kate will rethink all she has done, that she will beg for Jon’s and the children’s forgiveness and that she will try to make peace with the extended family (for the children’s sake)…… their marriage can be salvaged but only if Kate is willing to give up her fortune. As soon as she stops all of this, the much hated????? Paparazi (sp)? will disappear.
(Somehow, I do not think she hates them as much as she states.)
