Miley Cyrus and MTV are teaming up for a New Year’s Eve special.

Miley will surprise one fan by hosting a NYE countdown from his or her home.

FNMTV Presents: A Miley-Sized Surprise… New Year’s Eve 2009 will air live on MTV on Wednesday, Dec. 31 from 8-9:30 p.m.; with an encore presentation at 10:30 p.m., featuring the live countdown from Times Square.
