Filippa Hamilton has allegedly been fired from Ralph Lauren for being too fat. Take a look at her pictures here and let us know if you think she should have been let go:
Hamilton went on the Today Show today to talk about being fired. Apparently she’s 5′10, 120 pounds, which shows just how distorted the modeling industry really is if that’s viewed as large. Filippa claimed to be a size four and says she was fired because she couldn’t fit into designer’s clothes anymore.
Ralph Lauren of course denies it all, saying “We consider her an important part of our imaging and branding,” the designer said in a statement to the media. “We regret that our relationship has ended as a result of her inability to meet the obligations under her contract with us.” Which kind of sounds like is a way of confirming the story, since being too large would count as not being able to meet her obligations.
