Fergie To Host “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest 2010″
Dick Clark’s landmark New Year’s Eve celebration is getting a familiar face as it moves into its 38th year: Fergie. The Black Eyed Peas’ femme fetale will join the TV legend and its current host, Ryan Seacrest, as the West Coast host of Dick Clark’s New Years Rockin’ Eve, ABC announced Monday. Fergie will be joined by her bandmates The Black Eyed Peas, teen singing sensation Justin “Better In Call The Riot Squad” Bieber, R&B crooner Robin Thicke, Keri Hilson, Selena Gomez, and Orianthi as she rings in the New Year live from Sin City.
Performers from the Times Square broadcast – where Ryan and Dick will broadcast live – will be announced at a later date, ABC said.
Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest 2010 will kick off @ 10 PM EST on Thursday Dec. 31 on ABC.

Black Eyed Peas ringing in the new year at LAX? And Fergie hosting the west coast portion of Dick Clark & Ryan Seacrest's New Year's Rockin' Eve on ABC that night live from Aria? Now, obviously, when they do the countdown in Times Square, it's only 9:00 p.m. in Vegas, so Aria's countdown with Fergie is only for TV. So how about, when midnight rolls around over there three hours later, and you do the countdown locally at LAX for real, put your TV screens on that show. (As ABC delays the show until 11:35 p.m. local time.) Then Fergie and the Black Eyed Peas can do the countdown live in LAX with themselves on tape from Aria on the TV screens! It'll be tremendous! within walking distance. Oh, man, with Fergie married to Josh Duhamel, I so want to come up with a joke that connects walking from Aria to LAX with Josh's TV show Las Vegas where Sam once followed a suspect up the outdoor escalator and
down the overhead walkway that connects New York, New York with the MGM Grand. Not sure if I can, though. Well, maybe they'll run into Perez Hilton, and another fight will ensue. But why would Danny McCoy care if it doesn't involve the Monteceito? This is tough. Hmmm…
