Farrah Fawcett Documentary Lawsuit — Filmmaker Craig Nevius Sues O’Neal & Stewart

A producer is suing Ryan O’Neal over Farrah Fawcett’s upcoming documentary on her battle with cancer.
Craig Nevius filed the lawsuit in Santa Monica on Wednesday, seeking to regain creative control of the upcoming NBC special. Nevius claims Farrah’s longtime partner Ryan O’Neal and her friend Alana Stewart forced him out of the TV special and “interfered with Nevius’ … contractual relations and rights.”
Paul Bloch, a rep for Ryan and Farrah, tells Entertainment Tonight, “He [Ryan] finds this lawsuit deplorable and disgusting. They’re shocked at this unconscionable act being done as Farrah fights for her life. Ryan is devastated. We hope and pray that Farrah does not know of or see this lawsuit in the condition she’s in right now.”
The filmmaker is responsible for filming the actress’ life in 2004 in a documentary that aired called Chasing Farrah.
Farrah’s Story, a video account of the 62-year-old star’s fight against cancer, airs this Friday, May 15 @ 9PM on NBC.
