“Fame” Movie Remake September 25th, 2009 Release Date

The remake of the 1980 movie musical Fame will arrives in North American theaters on September 25, 2009.
Shooting will begin in New York and Los Angeles under the direction of Kevin Tancharoen this November.
Fame, which went on to become a television series and West End and Off-Broadway stage production, followed a group of talented students through their time at the New York High School of Performing Arts.
“[It will be] new songs except we are going to use the ‘Fame’ song. Not in the body of the movie probably, but we do have the rights to that…” says producer Gary Lucchesi
