Director Albert Maysles, the man behind the Rolling Stones’ (I incorrectly said Beatles earlier, thanks for pointing that out.) smash documentary “Gimme Shelter,” is creating a documentary chronicling one year in the life of emo-rock band Fall Out Boy.
Bassist Pete Wentz says: “Albert came along and was like ‘I’m really interested in doing something with your band.’ We did the thing like when you’re at high school and the hot girl talks to you, and you sort of look behind you and go, ‘Who, us?’
“This guy could document anything and he wanted to do something with us. That blew our minds more than anything.”
