Evel Knievel Dead; Daredevil Evel Knievel Dies

Evel Knievel, the motorcycle daredevil whose jumps over crazy obstacles including Greyhound buses, live sharks and Idaho’s Snake River Canyon made him an international icon in the seventies, died Friday. He was 69. Knievel broke thirty-five bones over the course of his career; setting a Guinness World Record. Evel Knievel died just two days after settling a lawsuit with rapper Kanye West over the 2006 video Touch The Sky.
