Desperate Housewives’ Eva Longoria is sounding off on her shocking split from French-born NBA star Tony Parker the way every jilted woman does in the Internet age: Twitter!
After three years of marriage, Longoria has filed for divorce from Parker after learning that the professional athlete is a serial cheater.
“It is with great sadness that after seven years together, Tony and I have decided to divorce,” the Desperate Housewives star Tweeted on Wednesday. “We love each other deeply and pray for each other’s happiness,” she added.
Despite Tweeting about her divorce, Eva has kept a collage of her and Tony appearing in the Autumn/Winter London Fog campaign as her Twitter background.
Longoria has confirmed to friend and Extra TV host Mario Lopez that she has found evidence that Parker cheated on her with a woman who turned out to be the wife of one of his San Antonio Spurs teammates. Mario says Eva told him that she found hundreds of text messages on Parker’s phone from the side chick over just the past month alone.
Longoria also told Lopez that her now-estranged husband cheated on her earlier in the marriage with yet another woman. He kept in touch with that mistress with the help of Facebook.
This is not the first time scandal has clouded the couple. Shortly after their Parisian wedding in July 2007, French model Alexandra Paressant claimed she had an affair with Tony after being introduced to the couple through Tony’s good friend – international soccer superstar Thierry Henry. Parker denied ever meeting the woman and eventually sued X17Online.com, the paparazzi agency that ran the story.
