Emma Watson Flashes Underwear; Emma Watson Wardrobe Malfunction “Harry Potter” Premiere

Emma Watson ran into a red carpet wardrobe malfunction during the star-studded London premiere of the sixth Harry Potter film on Wednesday.

Emma — who will be heading Stateside for her freshman year at New York City’s Columbia University in the fall — was left shamefaced and soaked with rain after a strong gust of wind blew her full-length silver wrap gown open, exposing her panties for all to see.

Emma Watson reprises her role as Hermione Granger in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, opening later this month.

Nothing to be embarassed about, really. There was no deliberate flashing of undies (or more), and there’s no controlling the wind. The undies aren’t weird, either, so definitely no need to be embarassed. If we can’t accept the occasional mishap, perhaps we should ban dresses and gowns.

I used to love the Hermione character but now I just think of her as the typical bimbo. Her movies are ruined for me.

Sam, she wasn’t pulling it open intentionally, she was pulling it up so she wouldn’t step on it or get it in a puddle. You can tell it’s raining in the picture, and she’s said so in an interview. She probably tried to grab both pieces of the dress and only got half.

And the purpose of tan undies is so you can’t see her underwear through her dress. It’s nothing to do with wanting people to think she isn’t wearing any; it’s just trashy when you can see what color someone’s underwear is through their clothes. I’d think that much would be obvious.
