Emma Watson is the latest celebrity to become the subject of death rumors on the Web.

On Friday, rumors began circulating that the 19-year-old star of the Harry Potter film franchise had died after suffering a fatal head injury in a car crash outside London.

A posting on one fansite read: Emma Watson was pronounced dead at 11:23AM this morning at Guy’s Hospital in London. She suffered a major brain haemorrhage after a car crash which left both her and the driver of the 2007 Ford Fiesta which she was a passenger in a serious condition. The driver is in an unknown state and there is not known to be any other vehicles involved in the collision.
