Emma Watson Burberry Ad Campaign PHOTOS Fall/Winter 2009/10
Check out Harry Potter star Emma Watson in a series of new Burberry ads that will be hitting fashion mags this August.
In her first major ad campaign, a very grown-up looking Emma was snapped in London by famed fashion photographer Mario Testino. Rumor on The Style Circuit predicts the prestigious contract with Burberry will boost the actress’ estimated $16 million fortune by six figures.
The 19-year-old college bound star was chosen because she exudes “a classic beauty a great character and a modern edge.”
“Emma’s charm, intellect and brilliant sense of fun made the whole shoot feel like a picnic on the Thames,” Christopher Bailey, Creative Director of Burberry said in a press release Tuesday. “Having known and admired the lovely Emma Watson for quite some time, she was the obvious choice for this campaign.”
Emma’s Burberry ads also features a number of stylish male models.
“I felt Emma would be strong enough to hold the campaign as the only girl, and I loved the idea of her being surrounded by these young, cool British guys,” Bailey added.
