Eminem’s Daughter — Hailie Scott Mathers — Crowned Homecoming Queen
Remember that cute little voice from Eminem’s 2002 jam “My Dad’s Gone Crazy?” Well, she’s all grown up now…and she’s the homecoming queen.
On Friday, Em’s 17-year-old daughter, Hailie Scott, was crowned homecoming queen by her classmates and teachers at Chippewa Valley High School in Clinton Township, Michigan. Both Hailie’s famous father, whose real name is Marshall Mathers III, and her mother, Em’s ex-wife Kim Scott, were in attendance for the event.
Em chose to view the festivities from inside the school rather than on the field. The rapper reportedly stayed hidden throughout the ceremony, watching from inside a classroom to avoid causing “a scene.” Onlookers say the doting dad looked “proud.”
A local parent gave The Macomb Daily an account of the high school festivities:
“Hailie came out with her mother Kim [Scott] when she was introduced with all the other kids. But her father watched from inside the school because he didn’t want to cause a scene — he wanted Hailie to have her own moment. He opened the door and looked out like: ‘That’s my daughter!’ He just looked like a proud father.”
