“Troubled” — that’s one way of describing Eminem’s relationship with his oft-estranged mother, Debbie Mathers. Add in all the nasty things the pair have said about one another over the years, not to mention the defamation lawsuits, and “troubled” quickly becomes completely and utterly “dysfunctional.”
“The Rap God” is cleaning out his closet again. It seems that Em is finally ready to start celebrating Thanksgiving at home again (provided this little reunion can last past next week) after extending a full-on musical apology to Debbie in “Headlights.” The Spike Lee Joint debuted just in time for Mother’s Day and featured mother and son embracing publicly for the first time since…well…ever.
“I went in headfirst, never thinking about who what I said hurt. My mom probably got it the worst. And I’m mad I didn’t get the chance to thank you for being my mom and my dad. So Mom, please accept this as a tribute I wrote on this jet.”
