Eminem stormed out of the MTV Movie Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday night after Bruno star Sacha Baron Cohen’s ass landed in his lap — literally!

The rapper had just finised performing a medley of tracks from his new album Relapse and was sitting in the audience when Cohen’s gay alter ego, Bruno, flew overhead in a dove outfit, chanting, “Ich bin Bruno. Ich bin dove of peace –” baring his naked backside, he landed upside down on rapper Eminem’s lap.

“Are you serious? Are you fuckin’ serious?” Em screamed as his entourage violently tried to free him. “Yo, get this motherfucker off me, man!”

“Is the real Slim Shady about to stand up?” Sacha continued to joke as the audience laughed in delight.

Eminem and his entourage left their seats and walked out of the show. Well…he has a reputation for being nasty and mean-spirited to others — if you’re going to dish it out, you have to know how to take it.

I think he is an extremely hilarious person but this was just a bit over the line. I doubt Eminem would agree to do any stunt like this and Sacha is very lucky that D12 didn’t stomp him out. Em’s camp showed a massive amount of restraint by not doing so. I am sure his performance was intentionally scheduled before this because it was almost certain to piss him off to the point of walking out. It was tasteless and MTV should not have let a person they invited to an awards show be put into a position like that. MTV will be lucky if he ever does another gig for them again.
