Elizabeth Taylor Remembers Michael Jackson

The Dame has spoken. Actress Elizabeth Taylor has issued a statement on the passing of her fellow legend and dear friend Michael Jackson.
“My heart … my mind … are broken. I loved Michael with all my soul and I can’t imagine life without him. We had so much in common and we had such loving fun together,” says the grief-stricken screen star. “I was packing up my clothes to go to London for his opening when I heard the news. I still can’t believe it. I don’t want to believe it. It can’t be so. He will live in my heart forever but it’s not enough. My life feels so empty. I don’t think anyone knew how much we loved each other. The purest most giving love I’ve ever known. Oh God! I’m going to miss him. I can’t yet imagine life without him. But I guess with God’s help … I’ll learn. I keep looking at the photo he gave me of himself, which says, ‘To my true love Elizabeth, I love you forever.’ And, I will love HIM forever.”
According to In Touch Weekly, 77-year-old Elizabeth was so overcome with sorrow after learning of Michael’s death that she collapsed in tears and was too devastated to speak.
“Liz was getting dressed when the second call came that Michael had died, and she collapsed,” an insider tells In Touch. “Liz is in a state of shock. She and Michael had their ups and downs, but she never stopped loving him…..”

I’m glad Michael had such a good friend, I think they really understood and loved each other because they (had) shared the same pain.
And I don’t want to jinx Elizabeth but she’s fairly old now and not in a great physical condition, I don’t think it will take long for her and Michael to be reunited in heaven.

I can so understand the kind of love that Elizabeth and Michael shared. It was other worldly, and more real than this world, actually. I’d love to hear her stories, as the women with the beautiful hearts that were closest to him, knew his truth. Those are the voices I can’t get enough of.
