Hasselbeck is a typical non thinking right wing, spin regurgitating republican that won’t take the time to investigate the facts on any one thing, and will simply vote according to her ideology without reasoning out morals or ethics or environmental impact or economic impact….its all about them, holding the party line, and hells fire to actually accomplishishing anything based on fact and what’s good for the country. Too much bleach lizzie. no more brain. breathe deep and the sand will clog your nostrils.

I agree completely. During Rosie’s stint on the View - I often found myself feeling for Elisabeth - because she was torn a new one on a daily basis. But now it has become obvious Elisabeth was very much deserving of those daily tongue lashings!!

Elisabeth needs to take her whiny voice and teenager wardrobe and park herself in McCain’s headquarters until he looses the election. Then she can go home, tend to her kids and stay off the TV!!!

I did feel she was being picked on when Rosie was on the show, but after seeing this video, I wonder just how tolerant she is of minorities. Women taking mean about each other is a bad sign for me, wow

Good! She is immature and annoying, ignorant and probably very prejudice against all non-white races.

The hatered that oozes from the liberal party is scary. I remember when liberals where considered the “nice guys”. The fact is, Obama has no experiance. The choice is this - 0 experiance vs. 20+ years. American hero vs. man who did not want to wear flag pin. A man who has proven more then anyone in Washington that he is willing to cross lines for the betterment of US vs. man who has NEVER voted against his party (when he took the time to vote). WAKE UP. This is not Bush against Obama, this is right vs. wrong!

There is no hatred oozing from the liberal party. Check your crazy old man out there. Yes, John McCain has years of experience. He knows how to fix social security, fix the economy, create jobs, and kill Osama Bin Laden. Except in his 26 years in Washington he hasn’t done any of those things. As far as being a man who can “reach across the aisle…”, he can’t even reach out to shake his opponent’s hand. American hero? I remember a time when OJ Simpson was considered a hero. Not a war hero, certainly, but a hero to many, and a hero can tumble. McCain is wandering around in the dark now. That’s not hatred. That’s observation.

This is a comment to Carol Johnson (October 1). Perhaps you should do a little research as well. Please do a websearch for Rolling Stone’s article on John McCain, just type in “John McCain, Rolling Stone article” . Even if you try to dismiss this as a “left-wing” publication, you cannot deny the facts and comments from his classmates and others in the Senate. You will definitely question his being called an “American Hero” or being of the right mettle to be president. Did you ever wonder why he was 894th in his class at Annapolis Academy? Research how many times his father and grandfather bailed him out of trouble. His history reveals a man with a sense of entitlement who really did not change so much like he said he did when he got back from being in captivity.

I am also so saddened that it seems that many republicans listen only to FOX news. You guys think that it’s balanced and that other news networks are “picking” on you when they are just supporting, or even just DISCUSSING other slant or opinions. I find that these networks disagree quite often with my candidate and find myself yelling at the TV. I myself watch about 3 or 4 other news stations to get my news (this includes checking in with FOX on a daily basis). My husband and I also use factcheck.com to question statements by both candidates for their truthfullness. This is a non-partisan site. Perhaps you should do the same.

Now, on to Elizabeth. First of all, I love The View. It’s a great discussion show and it needs a variety of viewpoints to make it interesting. I like that Elizabeth has her opinions. I have noticed, however, that she will NEVER concede any point. I think that Whoopi tries to have a discussion and that she really seems like she’s thought about it and can see other reasons why people may think something different from herself, but I’ve never seen Elizabeth do this too She’s even been arguing with Barbara Walters lately! How does anyone argue with Barbara Walters? I’ve been watching for years and I can’t tell you what Barbara’s politics are! Elizabeth has been so iritating lately because she has been so shrill. Funny,, what I notice about my friends who are Republicans is that they are lovely when things are going their way, but, man, they get really mad, really quickly if you disagree with them however calmly. Here’s my theory, it might be because Republicans see things as threatening faster than Democrats do (I base this theory on the findings of a recent scientific study - can’t remember what paper it was in, either on-line or my local paper. It compared the reactions of self-declared republicans and democrats to seemingly threatening “stimuli”. They found that republicans reacted sooner and stronger to perceived threats than democrats. My father was a perfect example of this. My boss too who is a dear, but disagree politically on anything and she gets CRAZY! Because she is threatened so easily, she will never even investigate another viewpoint.

P.S. Carol? In the last debate, Barack Obama had a american flag pin on and John McCain did not! Whatever THAT signifies. What in the heck does that matter? What matters is what is in your heart, mind and actions!

What do you think?
