ESPN reporter Erin Andrews has been the target of death threats, stalking, and even an obsessed Peeping Tom who released secret videotapes of the blonde bombshell in the buff — but these days Andrews is geting some of her harshest criticism from other women.
Take The View’s Elizabeth Hasselbeck, for example. On Tuesday, Lizzie’s conservative Republican views reared their ugly heads once more when she criticized Andrews for wearing “next to nothing” on Dancing With The Stars after being stalked earlier this year.
“I think in light of what happened … and as inexcusable as it was for that horrific guy to go in and try to peep on her in her hotel room … in some way, if I’m him, I’m like, ‘man, I could have just waited 12 weeks… I could have seen this, a little bit less, without the prison time….”
Last month, Andrews was branded a bimbo by a Canadian sports journalist who questioned the Erin’s decision to compete on the show at all. The hazing is taking a toll on the stunning sports buff.
“I cried!” Andrews told Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson. “I think people can have opinions about the show, but my biggest complaint is she’s a woman and a mother and it was a mockery of something I’ve lived through this last year. … I felt like it was a slap in the face for victims of stalkers and victims of sexual predators.”
