Eddie Murphy has been forced to fork over $51,000 a month in child support to his former Spice Girl Melanie Brown for their daughter Angel Iris, 1.

In 2006, the one time couple became embroiled in a nasty public spat when the Beverly Hills Cop star suggested it was possible he wasn’t the father of the baby. Eddie subsequently took a DNA test which proved Angel Iris, born on Murphy’s birthday, April 3, 2007 – was in fact his daughter.

He has never seen the child.
