Ed McMahon Sued Again: Mickey Fine Pharmacy Ed McMahon Prescription Lawsuit

Things just went from bad to worse for legendary product pitchman Ed McMahon. The former Tonight Show sidekick and his wife Pamela have been slapped with a lawsuit claiming they were delinquent in paying for a number of prescription medications at a Beverly Hills pharmacy over the last two years.
Mickey Fine Pharmacy filed suit against the McMahons in L.A Superior Court on June 27th. The pharmacy says Ed and Pam have paid just $500 on their $8,231.76 tab.
The McMahons are in a whole heap of financial trouble; the family’s Beverly Hills mansion is in danger of foreclosure after Ed fell more than $600,000 behind in mortgage payments and last month the one-time Star Search host was sued by Citibank, who claims the eighty-five year old entertainer owes approximately $200,000 in credit card bills.
Heartbreaking, but it’s a lesson to us all about what can happen when you’re not responsible with your cash. Hopefully a few celebrities will be able to come together and throw Ed a tele-a-thon or something.

I worked for Ed and Pam McMahon for a while.
Ed was trying to work hard enough to keep up with the money Pam spent.
If someone important in LA was doing a philantropic project and called Pam for a donation she would evaluate what everybody else was giving and give more.
However she wasn’t so free about meeting her own obligation (bills).
Philantrophy sounds great if you have the money and your husband hasn’t already put one foot in the grave. But it’s better to have your name on the check to the grocery store than to have your name at the top of the program at a silent auction.
You can’t keep up with the Jones’ in LA – it is a vicious cycle.
They were both very nice people. Especially Ed though and many thought it was strictly a May-December marriage, but Pam certainly loved Ed and vice-versa.
