“Eastwick,” “Let’s Dance” Cancelled
ABC has pulled the plug on The Witches of Eastwick. The network has opted not to order additional episodes of its freshman supernatural comedy-drama starring Rebecca Romijn, Eastwick, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

Eastwick, a fresh take on the hit 1987 movie The Witches of Eastwick, will complete production on 13 episodes. ABC is also yanking its reality show Let’s Dance, the Kathy Griffin-hosted reality dance show that was supposed to premiere Nov. 23.
According to sources, ABC had difficulty casting celebritites to appear on the program.

This is my favorite show. I can't believe it is being cancelled. With all the incredible drivel on TV these days, I can't believe that such a fun touch-of-magic show has not been given its due. Makes me once again realize I need to cancel any form of cable and stick to ordering movies for escape entertainment.

Once again, the ABC have not properly advertised a show, placed the excellent tv series into a bad timeslot and cancelled the entire series while they wonder about why the ratings are bad.
Please bring Eastwick back, even if it’s on another network. It is such an awesome show!
