Dylan McDermott’s mothers death now considered a Murder
Actor, Dylan McDermott, lost his mother at the tender age of 5 years old.
Since 1967, the death of Diane McDermott, case has been cold but this weekend police in Waterbury, Connecticut have reopened the case, thinking that Diane was shot by her then boyfriend, John Sponza. Sponza, who was tied to organized crime, unfortunately has also died. His body found in the trunk of a car in a Massachusetts grocery store parking lot, after he had been murdered.
McDermott has remained silent since the investigation revealed Diane death was not an accident, but rather a murder. Dylan’s sister, Robin Herrera did release a statement saying, “I’m happy to know my mother wasn’t mentally ill or depressed,” she said. “Somebody took her from us; she didn’t leave us.”
