Dwyane Wade, Gabrielle Union Wedding: Cellphones Prohibited

Dwyane Wade (that’s D-Wade to all you Miami Heat fans) and Gabrielle Union are poised to tie the knot somewhere in parts unknown in Miami on Aug. 30. With just over a month left until the big day, the bride and groom have a big request (more like a demand) of guests: Leave the iPhone at home!

As Zsa Zsa Gabor would say: “No pictures please!”

Celebrity snoops recently got their hands on D and Gabby’s wooden wedding invitation. Inside the invites is a bold note for all intended guests:

“NO CAMERAS, NO PHONES.”

The couple have asked that those who plan to attend leave their phones behind “for the comfort of our guests and to protect our privacy.” (Privacy? That’s an interesting request coming from a couple who have openly flaunted many details of their lengthy romance — including the engagement — across social media).

No cellies could prove to be a tall order. Not only are we living in the Twitter age, but Gabby and Dwayne’s guest list is chockfull of celebrities and other high-profile guests. And we know how much Hollywood loves its Instagram.

The couple promises a good time…even if you can’t make personalized Vine videos:

“Put on your dancing shoes and join us for a THROW DOWN!”
