Dustin Diamond is still seething over being blackballed from the 20th anniversary reunion of the cast of Saved By The Bell.

The original cast of NBC’s Saturday Morning teen comedy banned the actor best known for his portrayal of lovable geek Screech from appearing alongside them on last week’s cover of PEOPLE Magazine because of his upcoming tell-all book about his former co-stars and the show. Other reasons for the snub include the Diamond’s infamous 2007 sex tape scandal, his widely reported IRS debt, and his behavior during his appearance on VH1’s Celebrity Fit Club.

Mark-Paul Gosselaar, who played Zack Morris on the original series, openly slammed his on-screen bestie in an interview with a recent issue of Newsweek.

“What is he going to say?” Gosselaar asked sarcastically. “We were (bleeping) groupies at 14? I can’t wait to read his book, because I don’t have a memory of a lot of the shows. Maybe it was because I was doing lines off of the audience members’ a—-. I’m sure he’s going to write something crazy like that. So he’s writing a book, I’m not really afraid of what he has to say. There are not too many skeletons in my closet.”

Thanks to various including Gosselaar’s public diss — as well as other cast members’ public comments — – Screech is talking to lawyers about possibly filing defamation lawsuit, The Chicago Sun-Times revealed in a report on Tuesday.

“I don’t think anyone has anything to worry about. That lawsuit’s not going anywhere.”
